By downloading, installing, or using Voyage ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users, including beta testers invited through TestFlight.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Voyage. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Voyage is designed for adults engaging in deep personal self-encounter. The nature of the app — reflection on relationships, identity, grief, and life experience — requires emotional maturity. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to create accounts.
Voyage is a self-encounter app powered by AI. Compass, our AI guide, is not a therapist, a crisis service, or a substitute for professional care.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Voyage uses Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In — we are passwordless and never store a password.
You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without their permission.
You own your reflections. The memories, conversations, and patterns captured in Voyage belong to you.
By using the App, you grant Voyage Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to operate the service — including sending conversation content to third-party AI providers (Anthropic) to generate Compass responses and extract memories.
This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
We do not claim ownership of your reflections. We do not use them to train AI models or for any purpose beyond operating the service, except as described in our Privacy Policy (beta review clause).

Voyage is currently in beta. This means:
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data, but we cannot guarantee continuity during the beta period. Back up anything you consider irreplaceable.
Voyage, Compass, Kaleidoscope, and all associated product names, designs, and software are owned by Voyage Labs. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the App.
Your content remains yours. Our product remains ours.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of the App for any particular purpose.
AI responses are generated, not authored by a person. Compass's questions are not professional advice. Do not rely on them as such.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voyage Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or decisions made based on content generated by the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, during beta, is zero).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
